Charles was born in the home town of Helen Keller many years ago. He is a graduate of Culver Military Academy and Belhaven College. He received his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Clinton MS in 1974.
He served churches in Cheraw, SC and High Point, NC until 1979. Since then he has worked at Belks department store in High Point and in 1985 he started a career in real estate. He has served in the finance department at CCC since August 2002.
Charles is married to Liz and they have 2 grown daughters (Laurie & Kathy) and 5 grand children. Laurie and her family live in Thomasville. Laurie is the mother of Erin who went to be with Jesus on November 1, 2004, after a three year battle with cancer. Kathy and her family live in Savannah, GA.
