Tripp Kimbrough is a native of Greensboro, N.C. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill where he double majored in Psychology and Communications. In August of 1997, he got married to Anna McLaughlin and joined Young Life staff in Greensboro.
In 1998, he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, in South Hamilton, MA, where he earned a Master of Divinity. He then served on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for four years in Knoxville, TN. While there he ministered to the students at the UT-Knoxville and planted a chapter at Pellissippi State Community College.
In July of 2005, he, Anna, and Ella, their daughter, moved back to Greensboro and joined staff at CCC as the Director of Small Groups.
