Tuesdays at noon and Wednesdays at 7 p.m.--Prayer Time. Join us in prayer for our church and the advance of God's Kingdom in this world. We meet in Room C-105 (near the front-left corner of the fellowship hall in choir room hallway). There is also an opportunity to pray for the needs of the church with the Sunday Morning Prayer Group, which meets from 8:30 to 9 on Sunday mornings in the D-wing Hospitality Room.

Starting Tuesday, September 7--Prayer Quilt and Shawl Ministry. Do you enjoy (or want to learn) knitting or quilting? The Prayer Quilt/Shawl Ministry group will meet in the D-wing. We are learning to make small prayer quilts and prayer shawls (knitted), which are given to CCC members who are facing life-changing situations. Consider joining us, as we quilt or knit, and experience the joy of sharing the love of Christ with fellow believers. We meet on the first and third Monday evenings of each month. Tuesday, September 7, 6:30 p.m.--Cub Scout Cookout. Do you have a young man in first grade through fifth grade- or 7 to 10 years old - then Cub Scouting is for you. It's for your family, too! Saturday, September 11--The "Re-New" Children's Fall/Winter Consignment Sale. A preview sale for volunteers and consignors will be held on Friday, September 10. The proceeds from the sale will go to help our missionary families around the world. If you'd like to help with this effort by consigning, please contact Julie Streng. Starting in September--Tuesday Evening Women's Precept Bible Study. This group plans to continue the Kings and Prophets series with Passing the Mantle (5 lessons referencing: 2 Kings 2-14 and 2 Chronicles 21-25). All Bible students are invited. For more information call Kathy Wilson at 288-8331.

Starting September 14--Women's Bible Study. The Precept class will begin studying Jeremiah. This group of ladies meets at the church on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 until 11:30. September 24-26--High School Fall Retreat. Join ARP high school students from across the Carolinas for a weekend of great Bible teaching, fun, and fellowship at Blonclarken in Flat Rock, N.C.
