Men's Small Groups

In small groups, men can build genuine relationships and grow in their faith. Men study together, encourage one another, pray with and for each other, and find the unique fellowship of Christian fraternity. Groups meet at various times and locations and are lead by men who have been through a Small Group Leaders Training. Men are encouraged and equipped to live out their faith in several types of groups, such as study, affinity, support, task and accountability groups.

If you are interested in joining a men's small group, please click here and complete the information on our Small Group Finder form. If you have further questions, please contact volunteer small group coordinator Diane Poovey, or email us at by clicking here.

Men's Small Groups: Christianity Explored. In January, we will be starting three new men's small groups, centered on a study called Christianity Explored, an evangelistic Bible Study on the Gospel according to Mark. To learn more about the study, take a look at the Christianity Explored website and watch a trailer for the video that accompanies the study. For some, this study will be an introduction to the basics of the Gospel. For others, this will be a refresher course that provides a framework for sharing your faith with others. For all, it will be spiritually nourishing and will help you lead your families well. In addition to the study, our time will also strongly emphasize fellowship, prayer, and accountability with other men. Three time slots during the week will be offered: Wednesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 7 p.m., and Fridays at 6:30 a.m. The small groups will meet weekly, with the exception of weeks when we meet as a large group of men. A commitment to one of these groups is not an indefinite commitment, but rather a commitment to the group for the duration of the study. We will likely continue through the spring and then regroup for other studies later. Please email James Dickson (by clicking here) to sign up and arrange to get the Christianity Explored study book, which costs $5.
